<p>Alsarah &amp; The Nubatones play an eclectic and highly danceable mix of Arabic-inflected East African music. After fleeing her hometown of Khartoum, Sudan with her activist parents, Alsarah relocated to the United States where she was immediately attracted to music, becoming both a performer and, later, a musicologist.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>A powerful and mesmerizing singer, Alsarah founded The Nubatones in 2010 and has since released two great CDs and toured all over North America and Europe.
