His sophomore album, Dialectics, was released in March 2015 on Vancouver-based Cellar Live Records and received a glowing 4 &frac12; star review from Downbeat. Curtis was a Fellow of the Jazz Institute at the Manhattan School of Music, and he participated twice in Betty Carter&rsquo;s Jazz Ahead Residency at the Kennedy Centre.
