Bria Skonberg made the jump from Chilliwack to New York City shortly after her appearance at TD JazzFest in 2010 where guitarist John Pizzarelli sat in on one of her gigs. Once in New York, she was asked to perform with Bucky Pizzarelli and Nicholas Payton, and she quickly made her way onto the cover of JazzTimes for their September, 2014 issue.
