=0D=0A=Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio (DLO3) specializes in the lost art of “feel-good music.” With a mix of the 1960s organ jazz stylings of Jimmy Smith and Baby Face Willette, the snappy soul strut of Booker T. & The M.G.’s, The Meters, and sprinkles of Motown, Stax Records, blues, and cosmic Jimi Hendrix-style guitar, it’s a soul-jazz concoction that goes straight to your heart and makes your body break out in a sweat! The trio has released five albums, with an upcoming album set to release on Blue Note Records.
=0D=0A=Embodying the vibrant Chicago music culture, Lowdown Brass Band is a one-of-a-kind horn ensemble weaving the rhythm of the streets with conscious hip hop, reggae, and soul. The band last played at TD JazzFest in 2023, and have proven to be a high energy, dance-orientated performance that wows audiences. Their 2024 album $itizens of the World further pushes the boundaries of their genre.
