Take Time for Take Ten! Theatre Quadra’s annual presentation of short plays returns to the Community Centre on Friday and Saturday, May 11 and 12. While most plays portray a slice of life, Take Ten is the whole pizza! Each tasty ten minute morsel answers one of those eternal questions: Is marriage really a fight to the death? Is real friendship possible between a unicorn and an aardvark? Does it help if a robber is politically correct? And much, much more.
=0D=0A=Most plays will be performed both evenings, but Friday is more slanted to youth and families (but not young children) and Saturday has more mature content. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students and $5 for kids 12 and under, and are available at Inspirations and Works of H’Art on Quadra Island, the Music Plant in Campbell River, and at the door. Doors open at 6:30, with curtain time at 7:00. Delicious home-baked goodies will be on sale courtesy of Quadra Cat Rescue group.
