8:00 AM to 2:00 PM

After two long years, the South End Community Association is once again holding its annual day of fun in Deverill Square Park with a jam-packed program of events.

Now relaunched as South End Day (formerly the Miner’s Heritage Picnic), the festivities begin with a pancake breakfast from 8 to 9:30 am.

The entertainment starts at 10 am, with a youth band, puppeteers, and local singer/songwriters and performers throughout the day.

City planner Chris Sholberg will lead a heritage walk at 11 am, and in the afternoon, there’ll be a pet parade, and the senior’s tea.

Along with these activities is a youth market, art tent, games, a climbing wall, bouncy castles, and more.

Come join us for this family-friendly gathering, have fun, meet some new people, and find out what this great neighbourhood has to offer!

South End Day is supported by SECA and local businesses.

This year’s event represents more than a quarter-century of summer family fun in the South End.
