<p>The Gettin&rsquo; Higher Choir is taking in new singers from Sept. 22 to Oct 2 for our Fall season and we invite you to join our singing community!</p>=0D=0A=
<p>Whether you have been hesitant to sing in the presence of others or you have been singing all your life &hellip;we will welcome you with open voices!</p>=0D=0A=
<p>In the Gettin&rsquo; Higher Choir we sing out of the simple philosophy that singing is our birthright; an essential activity for personal and community health and vitality. We are not associated with any religion or spiritual path, but seek to embrace and celebrate humanity&rsquo;s highest aspirations through music.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>Our Fall season no-audition, no-obligation new singer intake sessions are:</p>=0D=0A=
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">MONDAYS</span></strong> Sept. 22 &amp; 29<br />The First Unitarian Church of Victoria, 5575 West Saanich Rd.</p>=0D=0A=
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>TUESDAYS</strong></span> Sept. 23 &amp; 30 plus <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>THURSDAYS</strong></span> Sept. 25 &amp; Oct. 2<br />The Church of Truth, 111 Superior St. (James Bay)</p>=0D=0A=
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>NEW SINGER ORIENTATIONS</strong></span> from 7:00 to 7:30 each night and singing with the choir from 7:30 &ndash; 9:30 pm</p>=0D=0A=
<p>Come try us out!&nbsp;We welcome people of all ages and backgrounds and offer a repertoire consisting of traditional and contemporary songs from many cultures sung in harmony.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>Music reading and singing experience are both helpful but neither is necessary.&nbsp;The only requirement for singing with us is that you want to. We think you&rsquo;ll love the experience.</p>=0D=0A=
