Our tenth annual performance is your opportunity to be a chorister with the Malaspina Choir as we sing Handel&rsquo;s transcendent Messiah under the direction of Lionel Tanod. The Nanaimo Chamber Orchestra provides the accompaniment with Jenny Vincent on continuo and Hugh Middleton on trumpet. Our soloists are Rebecca Collett, soprano; Julia Morgan, alto; Nolan Kehler, tenor; and Michael MacKinnon, bass. Exalt the glory of the Lord, tell good tidings to Zion, behold the Lamb of God, sing Hallelujah. And if you&rsquo;re not a singer? You will enjoy being surrounded by this incomparable music and hearing the trumpet sound!</p>=0D=0A=

<p>This year we will be fundraising at the performance for our 50th Anniversary legacy project to support the arts in Nanaimo. Scores for Messiah will be available for purchase at the door.</p>=0D=0A=
