On May 1st, you’ll have the chance to do both: the Sierra Club Comox Valley is presenting “Save Our Estuary: An Evening with Todd Butler”.  A regular contributor to CBC Radio and Television and a veteran of over twenty years of live performing as a guitarist/vocalist and comedian, Todd Butler is an artist whose skills are honed to an exquisite point.  Expect a varied evening of entertainment; Butler swings easily from folk to bluegrass to blues, from hilarity to outrageous twists on recent news to poignancy.  Expect to be impressed; you can find a video on YouTube of Todd playing a screaming bluegrass solo… behind his head.  =0D=0A=

The event will be held at the Florence Filberg Centre on May 1st; doors at 7 pm, show 8-10.  Dancing 10-12. Tickets are $25, which includes admission and snacks; there will be a cash bar, as well.
