Come explore the exciting world of Mail Art! This art form is a cool way to connect with others across the globe! Anna Banana, who is featured in our Existential Elders exhibition at the downtown gallery, is well known for her decades-long explorations with Mail Art. Create a variety of mail-friendly pieces with special recipients in mind using; Collage, mixed media and/or paint, and send one off in the mail to a faraway friend! Nanaimo Art Gallery offers unique art classes and activities for children, ages 5-11 on select Saturdays from 10:30am until noon. A fantastic opportunity to engage and inspire young artists! If you have a LEAP card your child may be eligibe for a bursary!  Two LEAP spots are available each week; one per family.  Each family is welcome to use up to 2 LEAP spots per month.  =0D=0A=

Maximum program enrolment is 16 students. All phone reservations must be paid prior to 5 pm the Friday before Saturday Studio. Walk-in payments are accepted until 10:15am Saturday if there is still space. =0D=0A=
