The TransMountain pipeline expansion and tanker project was stopped in its tracks when the Federal Court of Appeal ruled in favour of the Tsleil-Waututh Nation, finding that the constitutional obligation of meaningful consultation had not been fulfilled.
=0D=0A=Reuben George is the Manager of The Sacred Trust, the organization created by the Tsleil-Waututh to stop the project. He is also the grandson of Chief Dan George, the legendary actor, poet and author.
