Join your local firefighters for a day of fun and activities. Tour the fire hall, sit in the trucks, try on some gear, watch firefighters demonstrate their equipment and more…don’t forget your camera! There will be food and other refreshments available and a door prize too!

=0D=0A=Drive A variety of activities and demonstrations will be occurring throughout the day, including: High Angle Rescue High angle rescue demonstrations - come and see firefighters rappel off a tower. Saanich Emergency Program Come learn about emergency preparedness and the volunteer disaster response services they provide. Auto Extrication ‘Jaws of life’ are used to demonstrate how we rescue trapped occupants from vehicles. Fire Apparatus Display Tour our trucks on display including; ATV, Rescue Apparatus, Aerial Ladder, Zodiac and more. Children’s Attractions Fire truck tours, balloons, jumping castle, and a chance to spray water at the kid’s hose station! Quake Cottage Experience the virtual reality of an 8.0 magnitude earthquake in a mobile earthquake simulator!
