The Rotary Club of Duncan is excited to host its first annual Garden Tour fundraiser. In its previous format, this popular fundraiser has attracted hundreds of attendees who have enjoyed visiting some of the most spectacular gardens in the Cowichan Valley.
=0D=0A=“We are honoured that six local garden owners have generously opened their gardens for the public tour this year,” says Duncan Rotary President Karen Thorington. “From Rhodos to Roses and rare flowers and trees”, the tour is a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together to appreciate the beauty of nature while raising funds for many local community projects to assist local not-for-profit organizations.

=0D=0A=· Clements Centre, offering programs and services to children, youth and adults with developmental disabilities and their families.
=0D=0A=· Dolly Parton Literacy Program, sending 130 books a month to local children aged newborn to 5 to encourage reading in their homes.
=0D=0A=· Cowichan Valley Youth Services, creating a resource library.
=0D=0A=· Nourish Cowichan, providing weekly meal support to over 300 needy school children.
=0D=0A=· Cowichan Therapeutic Riding, supplying equine-based wellness programs.
