DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Rockets and Roses combine retro Sci Fi with nature re-imagined. This exhibit represents two sides of Devorah Stone’s personality: her sense of adventure and love of nature. She loves Science Fiction TV and movies especially the old ones. As a child she enjoyed drawing rockets and imagining life on other planets. As an adult she loves playing around with various art materials creating paintings and collages. =0D=0A=

Devorah Stone is on the board of Pandora Arts Collective and has exhibited in group shows at the little fernwood gallery. She was the lead for On the Journey: Art of Hope and Recovery and Art from the Heart. She has also exhibited at the Look Show, and in Calling All Artists. She has a degree in Visual Art and Art History from U of Vic. This is her first solo show. =0D=0A=
