He’s Goodwill Ambassador for the Down Syndrome Research Foundation. Embracing themes of family, community, curiosity and friendship, Rick’s songs are playful short stories that encourage laughter and participation. His 4-hour 4-CD musical audio novel ‘The Great Gazzoon’, tells the tall tale of a boy who faces his fear and saves his community with his love of music. Rick’s 1995 song and video, ‘Angels Do’, starring his granddaughter Mielle, became an anthem for the Down syndrome community. www.rickscott.ca/videos A book based on Mielle’s life, ‘Snapshot of a Soul Place in the land of special needs’, includes the story of Rick’s ongoing saga with his granddaughter and the world of special needs. www.snapshotofasoulplace.com
=0D=0A=
