Reiki is a Japanese energy healing method of transmitting healing energy through the hands. The awareness that an unseen energy flows through all living things and directly affects the quality of a person’s health has been part of the wisdom of many cultures since ancient times.
=0D=0A=This universal life energy goes by many names such as chi, ki or prana. If this energy becomes blocked, depleted or stagnated we begin to suffer imbalances. This can show itself in physical, emotional and manifested ways ie: sickness and disease, inability to cope with stress, troubled personal relationships etc… Reiki helps to support the body to facilitate an environment for healing on all levels: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Reiki aids the body in releasing stress and tension by creating deep relaxation as it restores energy balance and vitality. It gently and effectively opens blocked meridians (energy pathways) and chakras (energy centers) and clears the energy bodies, leaving you feeling relaxed and at peace. Reiki level 1 is the foundation of all three levels of Reiki This degree is permanent and remains with you during your entire life (even if you stop practicing Reiki) Therefore, it is important that it is your decision to take the first degree and not allow someone else to decide on your behalf The main purpose of Reiki Level 1 is to learn about self-healing, which involves taking responsibility for your own health and well-being.
=0D=0A=After completing Reiki Level 1, you may also heal others, as well as animals freely or by donation for non-professional purposes By simply placing your hands on yourself with intention to heal, the Reiki energy flows through you to heal at four levels: Emotional Mental Physical Spiritual This level covers and includes: The History of Reiki, Benefits and Principles of Reiki, The Chakra System, Reiki for animals and plants, Hand positions for self and others, Energy exercises and meditations, The Reiki Principles, Full Reiki session and practice, Reiki level 1 manual, Level 1 Reiki Attunement (or initiation) for each student, a Level 1 Certificate of Completion for each student. Light refreshments will be served.
=0D=0A=I like to divide this level over 2 classes about a week apart, that way you get a chance to practice what you have learned and get a feel of the energy. Plus there are always new questions that come up!
