DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:<p>Salt Spring Baroque Music Society is presenting a three-day recorder workshop led by Italian recorder and traverso specialist Romeo Ciuffa. The workshop is for intermediate and advanced players.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>Mr. Ciuffa is a sought-after baroque flute and recorder player, and has had a stellar musical career, performing, recording, and teaching internationally. He performs regularly with Contrasto Armonico, is the founding member of the &ldquo;Cappella Musicale Enrico Stuart Duke of York&rdquo;, and founded the &ldquo;Arcangelo Corelli Ensemble&rdquo; with which he recorded ten CDs of excerpts from Seventeenth and Eighteenth century European music.</p>=0D=0A=

<p>&ndash; study of 16th-18th c. recorder music</p>=0D=0A=
<p>&ndash; consort playing</p>=0D=0A=
<p>&ndash; coaching of pre-formed ensembles</p>=0D=0A=
<p>&ndash; private and group lessons</p>=0D=0A=
<p>&ndash; master classes</p>=0D=0A=
<p>The fee is $200. The fee includes admission to a concert by Romeo on Sunday May 1 @7:30 pm at the Phillip T. Young Recital Hall at UVIC. Romeo will perform on his collection of various recorders, and will be accompanied by Marco Vitale on harpsichord.</p>=0D=0A=
