Salt Spring Baroque Music Society is presenting a three-day recorder workshop led by Italian recorder and traverso specialist Romeo Ciuffa. The workshop is for intermediate and advanced players.
=0D=0A=Mr. Ciuffa is a sought-after baroque flute and recorder player, and has had a stellar musical career, performing, recording, and teaching internationally. He performs regularly with Contrasto Armonico, is the founding member of the “Cappella Musicale Enrico Stuart Duke of York”, and founded the “Arcangelo Corelli Ensemble” with which he recorded ten CDs of excerpts from Seventeenth and Eighteenth century European music.

=0D=0A=The fee is $200. The fee includes admission to a concert by Romeo on Sunday May 1 @7:30 pm at the Phillip T. Young Recital Hall at UVIC. Romeo will perform on his collection of various recorders, and will be accompanied by Marco Vitale on harpsichord.
