We must ask for whom is it valuable? When places are valued differently there is bound to be disagreement and conflict. Places, objects and practices may be valued one way by dominant colonial settlers, another way by other settler groups and another way again by Indigenous peoples. We&rsquo;ll look at some buildings and places in Victoria that exemplify these conflicts and questions.</p>
