February 15th
Dr. Clare Craig is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor with certification in acupuncture and licensed to prescribe, a certified Doula, as well as a member of the Association of Perinatal Naturopathic Doctors and the Pediatric Association of Naturopathic Physicians.
Dr. Clare will speak about naturopathic support during pregnancy with a focus on some common
pregnancy-related conditions such as nausea, fatigue, heartburn and constipation. Acupuncture, herbs and homeopathics used to prepare the body for labour will also be discussed.
February 22nd
Dr. Marleigh Edwards is a fully licensed Doctor of Chiropractic and certified in the Webster technique through the International Chiropractic Paediatric Association. Join Dr. Marleigh Edwards for a discussion on how specific chiropractic pre-natal techniques effectively work to decrease back, hip and pelvic pain during pregnancy and labour, as well as create a more comfortable environment for your baby.
March 1st
Lesley Standerwick is a Kinesiologist with a Bachelor of Human Kinetics from UBC and certification from the American Council on Exercise. She has been practicing as a personal trainer for over 15 years, specializing in rehabilitative services. Lesley will empower you with knowledge and practical tips on how to safely and effectively strengthen your core in pregnancy and during recovery after birth.
