=0D=0A=Day 1: Object as Subject with Sara Robichaud Tuesday, October 4, 9:30 am - 4:30 pm Sara will share her process which involves utilizing meaningful objects as catalysts. Each participant will explore their own chosen object and we will cover a multitude of ways (formal, literal, conceptual) to approach making a painting from this reference point.
=0D=0A=Day 2: Landscape as Intersection of Inner and Outer "Space" with Alison Watt Wednesday, October 5, 9:30 am - 4:30 pm Landscape is not only an expression of place but also a projection of our ideas and feelings. In this mixed media workshop we will introduce elements of abstraction to landscapes which are significant to participants, as a way of expressing emotional response to place. Day 3: Figure, Imagination and Narrative with Yvonne Vander Kooi Thursday, October 6, 9:30 am - 4:30 pm Explore social histories and personal narratives using photos, drawings and memory.
