Party for a Purpose!! This year's Formal Gala and Experience Auction will once again bring together our amazing community in support of Grace Orphanage in the Congo to improve the lives of children in this challenged country. This is the third year Moksha Yoga Nanaimo and Island Optimal Health & Performance have hosted this event, which has raised over $50,000 to date for the benefit of others in need.
=0D=0A=This glorious evening will be held in the spectacular Cruise Ship Terminal, provided with heartfelt thanks to our Event Sponsor-Helijet. The evening will consist of live music by Johnny Inappropriate, drinks from local White Sales Brewery & Good Life Juice, canapes from Jonday Foods, and many other food and drink features. Topping off the evening will be an Experience Auction consisting of live and silent auction items, and dancing!

=0D=0A=The Hard Truth - The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC] is one of the most dangerous and poor countries in the world, where a 20 year war has ravaged lives and resources, leaving an estimated 4 million orphan children. Many of these orphan children are severely deprived of at least one of the essential needs required to survive, grow and develop, such as nutrition, clean water, sanitation, access to basic health-care services, adequate shelter, education and information.
=0D=0A=Grace Orphanage Grace Orphanage is a center for orphaned children located in the DRC. They provide housing, clothing, food, healthcare and education to 38 children, solely through the donations of individuals and rely on the charity of ordinary citizens to achieve their goal of providing a safe place for children, free from the desperation of living in one of the most dangerous countries in the world.
