Pacific Salmon Foundation is a lead non-profit charitable organization dedicated to the conservation and restoration of salmon. Governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, the Foundation raises and administers funds to support volunteers working on community based salmon projects throughout B.C.
=0D=0A=Since 1991, the Foundation’s flagship Community Salmon Program has contributed more than $780,000 to 107 different salmon conservation projects in the Nanaimo region which includes the East Coast of Vancouver Island between Duncan and Fanny Bay. By partnering grants with local fundraising efforts, such as the Nanaimo dinner & auction, volunteers have leveraged these funds to generate a total value of $4.3 million.
=0D=0A=Join us for the fourteenth annual Nanaimo Dinner/Dance & Auction! The evening will consist of live and silent auctions as well as several exciting raffles. Auctions will feature fishing adventures, original artwork, giftware, jewelry and other unique items.
