DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Ever wondered about the history of Oyster River and its many colourful characters of the past? The Museum at Campbell River is offering a chance to explore the region through a guided walk offered by the Museum’s summer students.=0D=0A=

Starting at Fisherman’s Lodge, participants will be entertained by stories of the past as they follow the forested trail along the riverbank, then proceed along the ocean shore towards Salmon Point Pub. Here, the group will stop to enjoy their picnic lunches on the beach. Hikers will then return to Fisherman’s. =0D=0A=
Don’t forget to bring a packed lunch and water, and it is advisable to be prepared for sunny weather with sun hats and/or sun screen. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes. The hike is easy to moderate-although four hours in length; there is no steep terrain.=0D=0A=

The interpretative walk will be offered twice-on Friday July 20th and on Friday August 3rd, from 10:30am-2:30pm. The cost is $5 per person. =0D=0A=
