DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:<p>Douglas Glover will read from his new book, Savage Love. He is the author of five story collections, four novels, and two books of essays. In 2007, he was given the Writers&rsquo; Trust of Canada Timothy Findley Award for an author in mid-career. His novel Elle won the 2003 Governor-General&rsquo;s Award for Fiction and was a finalist for the IMPAC Dublin Literary Award. Glover teaches in the MFA in Writing program at Vermont College of Fine Arts. He publishes and edits the online magazine Num&eacute;ro Cinq.<br /><br />Glover&rsquo;s reading is sponsored by the University of Victoria&rsquo;s Department of Writing Orion Series in the Fine Arts.</p>
