Tales for the Telling, Storytelling for Adults presents Dale Jarvis, author, storyteller, and founder of the St. John's Haunted Hike, telling ghost tales and legends from Newfoundland.
=0D=0A=Dale has researched these stories and told them around the world. We are delighted that he is bringing them to Vancouver Island along with his most recent book, Haunted Ground: Ghost Stories from the Rock. Ghost stories are found in every corner of Newfoundland and Labrador, and no one knows them better than storyteller and folklorist Dale Jarvis.
=0D=0A=Dale Jarvis works as the Intangible Cultural Heritage Development Officer for the Heritage Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador, helping communities to safeguard traditional culture, the first full-time provincially funded folklorist position in Canada. Dale holds a masters degree in folklore from Memorial University. He is a past president of the Newfoundland Historic Trust, Who better to tell us the ghost stories and legends of Newfoundland?
