<p><strong>Wetland restoration: Northwest Wildlife Preservation Society</strong><br />Wetlands are not only havens of biodiversity and productivity, but they also protect against floods, cycle nutrients and remove contaminants from the water. <strong>Carlo Acu&ntilde;a</strong> will help us learn how the Northwest Wildlife Preservation Society is working to restore a degraded wetland on their Manley Farm property in Cobble Hill and how you can become involved in this important ecological endeavour. <br /><br /></p>
