The Fundamentals of Design Thinking (Registration code: 132456) Thursday November 13, 20 and 27 from 7:00 - 9:00pm Are you interested in learning more about the process of creating meaningful, innovative design? Explore a multi-perspective approach to creative thinking that empowers and inspires! In this introductory series of design workshops, learn ways to take content such as; illustration, photography, writing etc. and apply it to the wonderful world of design. Activities will include; learning to think ‘outside the box’, a collaborative re-design project and film screening. Facilitated by industry professional Jackie Duys-Kelly this will be a fun, collaborative way to develop and hone your creative thinking and design skills. The third and last workshop will be a Nanaimo Design Nerds inspired Jam! This event will be a great opportunity to share learning, aha moments and concepts-in-progress from the workshops, and get feedback to take forward on your design journey. Cost: $90 plus GST.
