<p>Together we'll explore the exhibition Fulhame's Map to look closely at the artworks. Back at Art Lab, we'll hear a Snuneymuxw story about a young woman who goes stilukw (strawberry) picking and learn about the annual community celebration this story inspired. Based on our observations in the exhibition, we'll create our own self-portraits, tracing silhouettes on paper. We'll embellish these with a stilukw photo montage, based on photos from Nanaimo Art Gallery's Indigenous species planters.</p>
