=0D=0A=HIDE, STAND OUT, SUBVERT, CONFUSE, DAZZLE, CONTRADICT, PLAY, PERFORM, DESIGN, DRAW, VIDEO, PHOTOGRAPH.
=0D=0A=ART GIVES YOU A VOICE – TELL YOUR STORY
=0D=0A=Learn about disciplines like painting, video, drawing, photography, sculpture, performance, design and curating. Explore notions of disguise, costume and theatricality in contemporary art. Become empowered to tell your story and develop your art practice through dialogue and experimentation. Work with professional artist mentors: Brian Lye, Elizabeth Milton, lessLIE, selected regional professional artists, art educator Yvonne Vander Kooi, and gallery curator Jesse Birch.
=0D=0A=Create, curate and promote an exhibition of your own work for display at Art Lab.
=0D=0A=Participants receive an artist honorarium of $300 upon program completion. Accepting applications for our 4 week art immersion program (Mon-Fri 9:30 am – 4:30 pm) for 10 young artists aged 15-19 in Nanaimo.

=0D=0A=Application Guidelines: A letter stating why you think you should be selected for this program Minimum 10 images of your work - include title, medium, dimensions & date Links to websites, film and video All images and letter should be incorporated into one PDF file
