Among the most influential composers of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Debussy&rsquo;s music is described as colourful and evocative. He was influenced by the French Symbolist Movement, developing a rich fluid rhythm new to Western music. He, in turn, influenced such artists as Ravel, Stravinsky, Gershwin, Phillip Glass and Duke Ellington.</p>=0D=0A=
