DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:<p>On October 22nd we will be looking at the internment of Japanese Canadians and their forcible uprooting from B.C&rsquo;s coast in two films.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>"Minoru: Memory of Exile" is the story of the filmmaker&rsquo;s father, Minoru Fukushima, and his experience during internment and his expulsion afterwards to Japan.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>"Sleeping Tigers: The Asahi Baseball Story" is a documentary following the legendary Asahi baseball team who prior to World War II had been unbeatable and the stories of the players during internment.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>The screening will&nbsp;start&nbsp;at 7:00pm at the Sidney Museum, 2423 Beacon Avenue, Lower Level. Admission is by donation.</p>=0D=0A=
