<p>Participants join us for a program LIVE using Zoom Meetings, where they have the chance to interact with our museum educators. After purchasing a Live program, you will receive a link to register for the Zoom Meeting.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>HUDSON'S BAY COMPANY AND THE FUR TRADE Grades 4 &amp; 9 Social Studies</p>=0D=0A=
<p>The Hudson&rsquo;s Bay Company is Canada&rsquo;s oldest national company. What were its powerful effects on First Nations and how did it play a key role in the development of Fort Victoria and Canada? Students will become curators and examine real otter and beaver pelts, a Hudson&rsquo;s Bay blanket and other items important to the trade economy. Relations between First Nations and the HBC will also be included.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>Please note: Registration for LIVE programs must occur at least 2 hours before the scheduled program and provide an e-mail, or we can not guarantee that you will receive the link to participate. We will contact you before the program, and are available for Zoom troubleshooting aid up to 2 hours before the program start time.</p>
