With a degree in Oenology and Viticulture (Engr. HES) specializing in distillation, Laurent’s research led to scientific publications and international recognition. Before joining Merridale in 2012, he crafted rums for some of the world’s most renowned distilleries—developing a 50-million-liter rum portfolio in Guyana and serving as Master Blender in Antigua for a decade.

Laurent will share the history and science behind Merridale’s spirits, dating back to 2007, while guiding you through a tasting of aged selections straight from the barrel.
