Current requirements for anyone operating small commercial vessels are: SVOP (Small Vessel Operator Proficiency), MED A3 (Marine Emergency Duties A3), ROC-M DSC (Radio Restricted Operator Certificate Marine with Digital Selective Calling endorsement), and MBFA (Marine Basic First Aid).</p>
