DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:
What makes everyone love Nina Simone? Was it her incomparable piano licks? Her heartfelt singing? Powerful presentation and lyrics? Passion for civil rights? Wonderful costumes? All of the above? Come get a taste of what made Nina so special. Lorraine Nygaard is a local singer that re-found her voice a bit later than some, but has powered through the journey, recording 2 cds in the last few years, including one of all-original music. Following many of her shows, someone would inevitably say "Your voice reminds me of Nina Simone". Lorraine has loved feeling out over 20 songs from Nina's repertoire and humbled by what she has learned in the process. Joining Lorraine are stunning musicians and human beings, Phil Dwyer, Louis Rudner, and Kelby MacNayr.
=0D=0A=
