DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:<p>Vancouver based New Orleans-style jazz band Milk Crate Bandits are bringing their brand of joyous New Orleans and traditional jazz to Port Alberni.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>The touring line up will feature Canadian Trombone legend, <strong>Brad Shigeta</strong>, who whilst living in New York played in The Ellington Band and The Illinois Jacquet Band; <strong>Chris O&rsquo;Dea</strong> member of the Australian circus and jazz show Scotch and Soda, which has just completed a six month run in Berlin;<strong> Jen Hodge</strong> a lindy Hop star and local Vancouver Island-born bass player; as well as Vancouver banjoist,<strong> Jack Ray</strong>, who has been dubbed by Woody Allen&rsquo;s banjo player,<strong> Eddy Davis</strong>, as &lsquo;The future&rsquo; of jazz banjo.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>The show will be in support of their brand new EP 'The View From Out Here' which along with their debut, 'The Neighbourhood' was recorded in New Orleans.</p>=0D=0A=
