Dinner and 50s Dance Fundraiser with Tomcat & Friends Put on your poodle skirt and 50s outfits and come dance to the music of Tomcat & Friends as they play 50s and 60s Rock 'n Roll music. Prizes for the best costume.
=0D=0A=The evening will begin with the Royston-Cumberland Lion’s Club members preparing a chicken dinner with all the trimmings. After dinner the music will begin and you can dance the night away on the Valley's largest dance floor. Tomcat & Friends is the valley's up and coming retro dance band. Tom formerly belonged to a popular band in Vancouver called the Tom Cats.
=0D=0A=Since moving to Vancouver Island he has joined with other musicians to form a band called Tomcat & Friends. All money raised will stay in the Comox Valley and will support the Royston-Cumberland Lion’s Club work here in the Comox Valley. Funds raised are ear-marked to help provide food, medical supplies and special equipment which would not otherwise be available. They are trying to raise money for a $6,000 piece of medical equipment.
