<p>Founded by a group of ballet enthusiasts for the purpose of presenting a playful, entertaining view of traditional, classical ballet in parody form and en travesti, the gentlemen of the Trocks have been entertaining audiences worldwide for nearly 40 years.<br />The fact that men dance all the parts&ndash;heavy bodies delicately balancing on toes as swans, sylphs, water sprites, romantic princesses, angst-ridden Victorian ladies&ndash;enhances rather than mocks the spirit of dance as an art form, delighting both ballet connoisseurs and beginners.<br />&ldquo;They are the best kind of artful parodists, capable of illuminating the most gripping sections of classical ballet, albeit via a wink and smile and the occasional well-placed shtick,&rdquo; says the Calgary Herald.</p>=0D=0A=
