<p>The Lanterns for Peace Ceremony will be held in Nanaimo on August 6th at Maffeo Sutton Park, Swy-A-Lana Lagoon.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>Peace songs around 8:30 with Janette&nbsp;Briere and Frank Graham.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>The formal program begins at&nbsp;9 pm Eleanor Sinclair playing&nbsp;the harp.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>The reading of the Proclamation from the City of Nanaimo.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>Janis Harper singing.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>This will be a family event suitable for children and people of all ages.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>Approximately 35 lanterns will be launched at dusk.</p>=0D=0A=
