Jimmy D. Lane (Jimmy Rogers son) will perform at The Queen’s on Saturday, July 30th!. Opening act will be Summer and the Sinners with Frank Alexander.
=0D=0A=Tickets will be available at The Queen’s Sunday Jam (just go up to the Hugh Hefner Lounge and we’ll be happy to help) or at The Queen’s during regular business hours. Tickets will be $15 in advance and $18 at the door.
=0D=0A=Jimmy started playing guitar at the age of 8. John Wayne (yes that John Wayne) gave him his first guitar. Shakey Jake was The Duke’s driver and a friend of Jimmy’s family. Jimmy got serious about playing guitar at the age of 18. Four years later, he was the lead guitarist in his dad’s band. Keep in mind his father was the late, great Jimmy Rogers and playing lead for his band isn’t exactly like playing for Spinal Tap.
=0D=0A=Jimmy’s music is on the rockin’ side but tempered with just the right amount of Blues. This will be a great show!
