Jane Austen fans! Regency Dance workshops -- no experience, no partner needed!
=0D=0A=10 am - 12 noon: Beginner level, for those with little or absolutely no previous experience;
=0D=0A=1 - 3 pm: Intermediate level, to brush up and learn more figures;
=0D=0A=7:30 pm - 10:30 pm: Evening Country Dance (refreshments served)
=0D=0A=COST: $10 per workshop, $10 Country Dance; or 2 workshops & dance / $25

=0D=0A=EVENING COUNTRY DANCE: Regency attire appreciated but not essential Instructor: Rosemary Lach is a professional English Country Dance instructor based in Victoria.
=0D=0A=English Country Dance (as danced in the Jane Austen novels and movies) is non-athletic, more like graceful walking movements to music. Rosemary Lach will instruct all workshops, and will also call / instruct for the Evening Country Dance.
=0D=0A=These events are offered by the Central Vancouver Island Region (based in Port Alberni) of the Jane Austen Society of North America (JASNA). They are part of our year-long celebration of Jane Austen events. JASNA brings together all who share an enthusiasm for Jane Austen, her works, and the Regency period.
