Created and produced by a former police detective / bloodhound handler / mystery writer, ISLAND SLEUTH is an in-person mystery competition to be held on Vancouver Island in Nanaimo, B.C. Cost is $20.00 per person and SPACE IS LIMITED so we suggest you buy your tickets NOW!
=0D=0A=All who arrive will enter a makeshift "crime scene," be handed a "case file" along with a fake "warrant" and will be asked to solve an island-based mystery. The person who guesses the most correct answers (of what investigative tactics to use) plus guesses the most "detective theme songs" correctly will win the title of "2016 Super Island Sleuth,"receive a special award, and will a special grand prize!
=0D=0A=The grand prize is a 2-night stay and meals at the lovely Honeymoon Bay Lodge & Retreat near Lake Cowichan. In the event of a tie, a tie-breaker will be held to crown the one and only 2016 Super Island Sleuth! This event will be held at the Eagle Mountain Church (the old bus depot). Hors d' oeuvres and non-alcohol drinks will be provided. There will also be a silent auction AND "clues" will be sold ($5.00 per clue--a set of ALL clues for $50.00).
=0D=0A=A free clue will be given to anyone who comes to the event dressed like a "detective." All proceeds benefit the Eagle Mountain Church missions fund with a goal of sending four EMC pastors to Japan in October.
