Please note that all registrations are non-refundable after October 1, 2016 Drum Rhythms from Mali (Friday 6-8 pm) Mali is home to the ancient Mande Empire, where djembe playing was born. It is also one of the most musically rich countries in the world. The playing style in Mali is different from the playing style in Guinea or Senegal. In this workshop you will learn a djembe rhythm from Mali, and if there is time, the bass drum parts as well.
