<p>- SEE Cari&rsquo;s stunning new music video &lsquo;Gracias a la Vida&rsquo;, created with Adrian Dolan and Richard Moody, shot by Trent Freeman (The Fretless).</p>=0D=0A=
<p>- HEAR her new, original song &lsquo;Open Our Hearts&rsquo; - about learning to forgive after lost love.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>Joining Cari onstage are good friends and musical collaborators Richard Moody (violin), Adrian Dolan (accordion &amp; mandolin), Sean Drabitt (bass), Kelby MacNayr, (percussion) and Sara Marreiros (vocalist).</p>=0D=0A=
<p><em>&ldquo;I&rsquo;m honoured to receive VIMA&rsquo;s Vocalist of the Year award,&rdquo; </em>says Burdett,<em> &ldquo;This concert is a time to celebrate the award and to express my gratitude, to my friends and my Cowichan Valley community, for their ongoing support.&rdquo; </em></p>=0D=0A=
<p>The concert features songs from Cari&rsquo;s Album &lsquo;Magnolia&rsquo;- such as Edith Piaf&rsquo;s &ldquo;Le Vie en Rose,&rdquo; Joni Mitchell&rsquo;s &ldquo;Both Sides Now&rdquo;, &ldquo;Loveliness&rdquo; by Anne Schaefer - and numerous new tunes.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>The Duncan show is the first stop in Cari&rsquo;s &lsquo;Celebration Tour - Summer 2016&rsquo; with stops planned for Sooke, Pender Island, Salt Spring Island and Vancouver. Highlights include; Featured Vocalist at Sooke Philharmonic Orchestra&rsquo;s Summer Fling and an evening concert at Butchart Gardens, complete with fireworks.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>Cari&rsquo;s soaring voice will stir your heart as she takes you around the world through song. Her unique style, &lsquo;Dramatic Gypsy Cabaret&rsquo; is a vibrant, genre-defying, fusion of jazz, folk, opera and world music; seamlessly blending multiple languages with a timeless, theatrical air.</p>=0D=0A=
