DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:<p>The Museum at Campbell River is offering a unique opportunity to explore Quadra Island&rsquo;s rich history. Jeanette Taylor, the author of <em>The Quadra Story and Exploring Quadra Island</em>, will take you off the beaten path to see some of the sights that visitors to Quadra Island may not have the opportunity see on a self-guided tour.&nbsp; Visit the petroglyphs at Tsa-Kwa-Luten Lodge, and see the Lucky Jim Mine. The tour includes stops at three heritage homes and gardens that are not otherwise open to the public, as well as a lunch break at the Heriot Bay Inn. Jeanette Taylor has an infectious passion for stories and brings the history of this island to life through her storytelling.&nbsp; &nbsp;<br /><br />This tour will take place Saturday July 9, 2016.&nbsp; Registration is through the Museum at Campbell River at 250-287-3103.&nbsp; The price is $65 and does not include ferry costs or lunch.&nbsp; Registrants meet on the 8:20am ferry to Quadra Island and return on the 5:00pm ferry.
