Why do parents and their children often feel like they are so unhappy? Are we missing something? How are the ancient and modern views of happiness related? From a modern perspective how are discipline, self-esteem and resilience connected? How does technology and social media relate to happiness?

=0D=0A=Dr. Tim Lau is a sought-after speaker in the area of "Happiness" speaking at national, provincial and local conferences. He is the founding President of the Canadian Federation of Catholic Physicians' Societies; together with his wife, he is part of Family Enrichment Ottawa and the International Federation for Family Develpoment and coordinates couples and parenting courses. He is a husband and father to six children.
