Courtenay Recreation offers a howling good time at the annual children’s Halloween Parade and Party. This free event is for children 11 years and younger with a caregiver.The fun begins at the Courtenay Library on 6th Street with Books for Treats from 3:30 to 5:00 pm. From 4:00 to 4:45 pm, parade through Downtown Courtenay and collect treats along the way.
=0D=0A=Drivers, please be patient and alert while hundreds of small costumed characters walk around Downtown Courtenay. At 4:45 pm, head over to the Lewis Centre for a party featuring Halloween carnival games with prizes and a refreshing float or coffee from the Witches Brew Café. At 5:00 pm Games and Grounds (on 4th Street) will be hosting an all ages costume contest.
