Golden Otter Gallery is Nanaimo's newest, locally owned art gallery. This evening will welcome the public in to experience the art, and enjoy food and refreshments alongside the artists. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
=0D=0A=Nicholas McMaster is an avid painter and tattoo artist. Wild animals are his favoured subject matter. His command of colour and intimate knowledge of the animal kingdom make his wildlife paintings stand out in the crowd. Nick also enjoys sculpting, his mini animal busts and 3D paintings adding an extra layer of interest to his collection.
=0D=0A=Kara Dee Harrison is a painter and tattoo apprentice. While she favours a variety of subjects, Kara’s love of dinosaurs often influence her work. Her paintings often feature bright contrasting colours, with turquoise and gold accents. Kara also enjoys designing felt food so lovely, you could almost eat it.
=0D=0A=Agnes Gnutek is an entomology and osteology enthusiast. Her displays feature scenes inspired by the natural world and often include insects, bones, and floral arrangements. Her love for nature is displayed in her art, which features only animal remains that have been found or ethically sourced. Agnes does not advocate taking the life of any animal for art and takes care to process any remains with the utmost respect for the life that once was. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
