Come and join the Craig Bay Choristers for a jam packed programme of beautiful Christmas music on Friday, December 9th - 7 p.m. at Knox United Church, Pym Street, Parksville under the talented direction of Lonnie Moddle.
The concert is entitled "Glory On A Christmas Morn" and is filled with the warmth and joy we recall so fondly from our own memories of this season - "The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year". The Choristers guarantee you an evening of fun, laughter and beauty and as the opening song says "we dispatch cold winter's gloom and keep the wind at bay." You will also have a chance to raise your own voice in song on a few beloved carols as we know how much you enjoy singing along!
The musical selections offer a wide array from "Good King Kong Looked Out" and "Reindeer On The Roof" to the ethereal "Ave Maria".
Our special guests are "Island Bel Canto Singers" under the leadership of Sharon Sinclair with Pat Rustand providing piano accompaniment.
The Choristers resident pianist, Carl McLuhan, is back at the ivories and we welcome cellist Kathy Larson along with our in house band of musicians; Wally Chinn on percussion, Stan Brown on guitar and David Moddle helping us out on bass.
