<p>Please join us for a panel discussion facilitated by distinguished German teacher, environmentalist, and former Heidelberg mayor and European parliamentarian B&eacute;ate Weber-Schuerholz, organized by the Cowichan Valley Public Art Gallery Society (CVPAG) and the Cowichan Intercultural Society and Immigrant Welcome Centre.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>Held in conjunction with the exhibition "The Suitcase Project," the evening will also include a performance by Japanese-Canadian Minyo folk singer Rina Hiromi Kikuchi.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>The discussion will be structured around articles of the UN Declaration of Human Rights (1948) and should prove to be a most engaging and thought-provoking evening for audience and panel members alike. Consider Article 1: "All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood."</p>
